Some suggestions to consider for the club. Hopefully it will create some interest, and discussion. I still have not met at least half the team but I have only been on the club for about a week. I check EA sports quite often to see if anyone from the Jets are on. For those that don't know where to find this site here is the address here you can find if your teammates, and their recent results have been playing and will show their status, it sometimes is a bit behind. http://www.easportsworld.com/en_US/clubs/761A0001/466/standings. So a few suggestions I would like to put out there are the following:
#1 If we restarted the club we could be at a higher position than we are now with our first three wins, some 3-0 teams are ranked higher than us right now. With the current ranking system losing games really hurt the ranking, as it is alot about win to loss ratio. For this reason restarting the club making this current club the farm team would make a lot of sense. Many clubs do this just add an asterick or something to change the title, then put in comments that this is the Windsor Spitfires the farm team. Of course we should only do this once we have all our ducks in a row, and are ready to start winning consistently. Just something for everyone to think about.
#2 In order to protect the win to loss ratio most teams do have rules. The most common is not playing without a GM present. This is a rule that i have always liked although I have never been a GM, it prevents players from playing matches they are likely to lose. That way there are just a few people making the decisions of wether the team has a good chance of winning. Such as playing with people out of positions, playing two man teams, playing as a two man team. It should be noted the more players involved in a match the more points, and ranking, as well as the quality of opponent effects the number of points gained. Most teams have rules of no two man teams, but I noticed in casual that is where most of the weakest teams can be found, although there is alot less points in those games, but losing those games adversely would be costly just as losing to a team like the Regs(actually not even in the top 20 any more lol) or a top 100 pro team would not hurt your standings as much.
#3 We should start posting when we are going to play probably most of us have family etc or some other committments, but if two of your teamates post to say I am gonna be playing on Thursday night, maybe you would be able to plan around that if you had a day or two notice, and make Thursday your game night.
