Tonights games

Tonight was an up and down, night. The team got a very solid win over the NightHawks a very good club in the casual, just before I started. Then I came in and played two stinkers against the Snack Bar Chez Raymond a top team in the casual who will be a good measuring stick for us in the future. I seen myself several times in those two games leaving the forward wide open, with either a hit that was not quite in time or a stick check that just misses. Then a nice win on a lucky break against the Gambino's another solid team. The last game is another game we should have won but came just a few seconds short of tying. None the less it was fun to play.

It was nice to see a full roster with everyone on. I hope we get a chance soon to match up with a full team against top opponents in the casual league, and maybe a few top pro teams. Hopefully nobody is too frustrated with the poor results, because I think its just a matter of the core of the team playing more together, and learning their strengths. I really look forward to playing more games with Optical as he is rock solid on D, and its hard to find a good D partner that you can always pair with, and i promise to cut down on the giveaways.

I thought it was a lot of fun too. I always enjoy playing 5-man games, even though the results weren't all that great. You could tell that every team we played were very stingy defensively, which I thought were were as well at times, they just made less mistakes. We are certainly on the right track, and will only get better.
