I was wondering about Be a Gm mode and the option to start your season at the draft. I love this option, but does this then mean that every player that was signed over the summer will be free agents ? If that's the case your rosters would be totally different from the actual rosters at the start of your mode. I wouldn't like that. Anyone know anything about this ?

no idea but just wait till the first roster update comes out then you shouldnt have a problem even if you do start at the draft

If I remember correctly, you could be waiting a while for it.

Damn. I don't like to start my dynasty until i get the roster update, so i can have all the rookies.

here is a link that shows the beginning of be a gm mode and at the end of the vid it shows the top free agents available (only 5 of them) and tanguay and bertuzzi and hudler were there but not any of the players that were signed earlier plus it was starting at the prospects game you could probably just edit the rosters a bit yourself and be fine

I have been thinking a lot lately about what team(s) i will manage in BAGM and what moves i might make. I've decided I will have 2 BAGM, one that i will play ( with the leafs ), and one that i will just manage and sim the games. ( with NYI )
What team(s) is everyone else planning on using ?
and what moves do you have planned! ?

I'm really looking forward to my BAGM with NYI, I think it's gonna be so cool to just manage a team, and see if you can turn them into a contender, with no control over how they do on the ice, like a real GM. And then after 3 years ( which will go really fast, if your simming ) you can change teams and take on a new challenge! I love this freakin mode, haha.

I wonder if you'll be able to offer 12 year contracts? Any word on extending contracts during the season? How about trading draft picks beyond the current season?

7 years is still pretty decent.
And i'd really like to be able to trade draft picks from a few years down the road.
