i think we should get together and have some games before nhl 10 comes out just for pratace we could make a new club or use the old one what do you guys think
What time works best for everyone? I will do my best to be around. Someone can create a new one, because I am not sure if anyone is GMing the old one. I think maybe Sean is, but could be hard to track him down.

sean is the gm but if not just get someone to make a new one it dont matter what the name is or i dont think it does best thing to do about the time is see when everyone will be on or just have one right now depending on how many is on
Yep, name of the team doesn't matter. Anyone feel free to create it. I am a bit busy this afternoon, but I'd love to get on to play some club games later. I will do my best. It would be fun to shake off the rust that is building up.

Well it was fun playing some club games, but I have to be honest, I remember how much I'm frustrated with NHL09. I really hope NHL '10 rewards good team play and real hockey plays.
Looking forward to it.

im sick of it to i hope nhl 10 will be different im hopeing that ea took cross crease out of the game all together they took out the toe drag move

depends what setting its on :/ ive heard it was either normal/all-star or default/all-star online im hoping normal atleast so you still have to aim your passes which would make cc harder and less frequent also they made the goalies smarter about stopping cc apparently as well as computer D if it was hardcore mode online there wouldnt be any lol there would probably be one-timers in the slot but the goalie would stop alot more of those then cc also if it was hc mode goalies would have so much fun since the passing is slower and easier to track would make it so much easier to play G but anyway its not hc mode online :'( so im gonna stop talking :D

If by Sean you guys mean me, I don't actually have 09 for PS3 anymore so I wouldn't be able to invite you guys, but... I was planning on renting it tomorrow anyways, so if you want I'll give the GM power to someone else or if you can't do that I'll invite you all back.

Hey, sorry guys. I can't play 09 anymore till 10 comes out. Seeing as I traded it in for $30 bucks.
Can't say I blame you. $30 for it is good trade in value. Not too much longer to wait.

Anyone get NHL 10 yet? It's alot of fun, I made two Pros: One Power Foward and one Tough Guy. The fighting is pretty difficult.
I can't wait to get some club games in. I will be on tomorrow during the day and anyone who logs on to nhl10 tonight will have club invites tommorrow. I am currently at work and won't be home til 4am. Sorry about that. :(

We're now 1-1, I've noticed after playing the passing is a bit harder than it was last year. To be succesful you have to work down low alot, also fights (win or lose) can create momentum.
I noticed that our breakout brokedown a few times as all three forwards were skating to the side the puck is on. I think it's important that wingers stay in their lanes, centermen work down low and also offer an outlet pass if the wings are not open.

I concur, I've noticed that momentum is huge in this game. I don't know if big hits or good scoring chances help create it but after I got my ass whooped in a fight, I noticed that our guys were a bit faster. 2 minutes later we scored.
It seems like this year there's going to be alot of close games, goalies are better and the defensive AI seems to be a little smarter.
