I always think it's kind of fun to throw around ideas on what we think could make the game better. Also it should be better to toss ideas around here without getting the immature wishes like zamboni destruction derby or thing like that.

So have any ideas on how to improve the game? I am not sure if we can submit our ideas to EA or not, but if there seems to be some really great ideas I will look into it.

Let's hear 'em.

great idea.... simple, but I don't know why this has been left out of the game. It would be great if your Be A Pro was being watched and it was made note of as he approached single season and career records. Even team records would be great.

how about blood back in the game. we now have double minors yet no reason for the double minor. especially with the high sticking calls.

I believe it's just an issue with the game rating. I don't think they want it rated M for Mature.

I doubt there will ever be blood back in the game, but it would be cool given the new injuries, and as you said the double minor high sticking.

better faceoffs holy crap better faceoffs they are so garbage... require very little skill should have to really fight for it instead of just timing + faceoff stat and better fighting with this its just hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit hit maybe i suck at fighting but still whats the point of blocking/jersey tug, dodging doesnt work much and yyyyyyeah

Faceoffs
Breaking sticks
Wristshot-pass for tip ins, on ice (hold R2 and shoot) mid air (hold R1 and shoot while in the zone) completely manual aim

zamboni destruction derby

- Take out boosts
- Change eashl passing to hardcore so people can't just cross crease all day

And what everybody else has said.

I'll add more later, tired right now.. @_@

The trading the AI teams do in Be A GM is crazy. Some pretty bizarre deals that would never take place. I'd like to see the amount of moves made become more realistic, and the deals that do take place be more realistic.

It seems like by the end of the 2nd year in Be A GM, the entire league has moved around, whereas in real life, I'd guess that a team may have a few changes here and there, and usually don't overhaul their entire roster each season.

Also, they need to finally put in the ability to offer players on their final year of the their contract an extension. This should already be in the game, get it in there.

Coaches. I think you should be able to fire/hire coaches who all have different tendencies and styles of play. There should be no problem getting real life coaches in the game, both NHL and AHL.

I think the whole scouting part of the game is a bit of a joke. There are no surprises in real life, so why make it a guessing game when you are drafting. There should be no doubt about who the top end prospects are each draft, and what their skills are. The top ranked prospects should be talked about during the regular season, much like Hedmen/Tavares last season, Kane, Crosby, Ovechkin, all these guys had big hype leading up to their drafts.

I guess I'd like to see the Be A GM mode really focuses on as I believe it to be the premier offline mode, not Be A Pro. I may be alone on that one, but Be A Pro seems like a good idea on the surface, but it really is a gimmicky mode if you ask me.

In Be A Pro, Let other players fight too, its weird being on a team with Sean Avery, Aaron Voros, and Donald Brashear that I'm the only fighter

Ya, that's been bugging me big time. They claim that the AI players are supposed to play to their real life personalities, yet the goons don't fight, and the fourth liners are wheeling around playing the same as the 1st liners.

They really need to overhaul this franchise IMO.

in bagm fighters occasionally start shit and ask for fights but yeah bap never, computer vs computer would be cool i guess without the first person veiw if your watching and fighting just sucks period theres not enough control or things to do fights arent always trading punches right in the face till someone drops

I don't know what you guys think, but I believe they should focus on just making the BAGM mode way more in depth and realistic.

How many trades do we see in the NHL each year? This should be reflected in the game, I find it very annoying that every team in the game is completely overhauled by the end of the first season.

Also I want the gameplay to be more realistic. EA doesn't even have it remotely close to a real life game of hockey. I believe it is possible to make it, and I wish they would. How many times in real life do we see that stupid cross crease play? NEVER! I think the puck should be a harder object to control and have it kind of bouncing around, passing should be a little harder to execute and to receive.

Players should resemble their real life self. Maybe instead of most players being rated 75-90 there should be a wider scale used. Ovechkin being like a 95, Derek Boogaard being a 40?

yea, but alot of people want to play BAP, at least I do, they should have it more in depth, like talking to media. Every few years have an olympics and you represent your country. Maybe the Skills competition, you get Exp. points for winning an event for a certain attribute. Let you skate around pre game instead of the CPU, or show walking out of the Locker room. Ideas
